This Business Security Kit has been developed to provide small business retailers with basic crime prevention  advice to reduce the occurrence and cost of crime to business and the wider community.

The Business Security Kit is also a useful resource to aid employers in developing workplace procedures about everyday business management practices covering issues from cash handling and internet ordering, to more aggressive crimes such as armed robbery and bomb/mail threats.

The Business Security Kit was first developed as a handout to small businesses, and is available to download on the right hand side of this page, along with a Business Security Assessment document.

This Business Security Assessment is designed to help business owners, operators and staff to assess the security of their business. It covers potential areas of vulnerability, and provides suggestions for adapting your security to reduce the risk of crime against your business.
