Integrated Security Monitoring

Access control, CCTV, and intruder alarms have been traditionally installed as separate systems, where each of these technologies has a particular function. Intruder alarm systems provide movement detection but cannot offer specific information on what triggered the alarm. Access control systems enable access to be granted to valid credential holders, while CCTV systems record events, which provide visual verification of an intrusion or access control event.

Independent security components often render the security system inefficient, as information from each system has to be linked and collated separately. A security system can be made more effective if information from multiple systems can be linked by a search criteria, which will result in a more comprehensive understanding of the event.

Safeguard's monitoring division is able to monitor and control integrated security systems for a single building or multiple buildings, regardless or location on the same computer via our secure and private IP network or alternatively the client's private network.

The need to have a manned security guard is eliminated by having your integrated security system connected to the Safeguard monitoring centre being able to monitor and control elevators, alarms, doors, environmental alarms, fire indicator panels, CCTV, etc and the administration of users, and associated programming.
